Help Wanted!
The APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College in Bel Air, MD is looking for part time as needed Arena Overhire Technicians. Our techs assist with the setup, operation, and tear down of college and community events, concerts, tradeshows and sporting events.
If you're coming from the Baltimore area, we're only 35 minutes north of Towson University. If you're coming from southern Pennsylvania, we're less than an hour from Millersville University or York College.
Some of the skills we’re looking for:
A basic understanding in the areas of live sound and lighting.
A basic understanding of electrical systems for events.
Experience in rigging.
Able to read, understand, and execute event diagrams.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
Entry level applicants will be considered and training can be provided. Extremely flexible scheduling. All applicants must attend a training and orientation session, on site, of approximately 3 hours upon hiring (paid).

Starting salary range: $21.35 - $34.16 based on experience and qualifications
